Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Housing Ledger is a static, server-rendered directory of Public Housing Authorities. We collect as little personal information as we can, and we never sell visitor data to third parties.

Information We Collect

When you visit any page on this site, our web server records standard request metadata: the URL you requested, the date and time of the request, the response code we returned, your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, and the referring URL (if any). This is the same information that virtually every web server on the internet records by default, and we use it strictly to monitor performance, debug errors, and detect abuse.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use that information solely to read and respond to your message. We don’t add anyone who writes in to a mailing list.

Cookies

Housing Ledger does not set any tracking cookies.

Children

Housing Ledger is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Choices

You can browse the entire directory without providing any personal information. If you’d like us to delete a message you previously sent us, write from the same address and we’ll remove it from our records within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as the site evolves. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Housing Ledger after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
