This search looks across every U.S. Public Housing Authority in our directory and returns matches by name, city, state abbreviation, and ZIP code. It’s designed to be forgiving: searching for “NYC”, “new york”, or “NYCHA” will all surface the New York City Housing Authority. If you’re looking for affordable housing in a specific neighborhood, your best bet is to search by ZIP code — the result will be the authority (or authorities) that administer Section 8 and public housing in that area.
